welcome to the year 2018! the island shuffle is back babyyYYYY!!! this week we’re talkin’ about Mr. Eko’s adventures in Season 3, Episode 5… The Cost of Living. it’s time for Mr Eko to follow a vision of his brother through the jungle. also we learn about when he first became a man of the cloth!! meanwhile, the gang goes on a journey into that hatch with all the tvs in it. happy new year, y’all!

in our last episode of 2017, we talk about Season 2 Episode 15, Maternity Leave. it’s all about Claire!! Claire you see, has a baby. what could be wrong with the baby!! we need to go on a journey to a spooky abandoned hospital station to find out… not much. Bean and James also talk about how Men never ask for directions!!!!!!!!!!! what are they THINKING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! anyways enjoy the episode and have a happy holiday and new year!

hey hey, this week we’re stick in Season 5, but hoppin ahead to Episode 10… He’s Our You. dumb title!! we’re back to seventies time and everyone’s wondering what the heck to do with Sayid. this episode has a Bus on Fire and also Truth Serum in it, and yet nothing really happens. meanwhile, in the future-past, Sayid finishes committing murders, builds homes, and gets arrested for committing murders. Bean and James sing some songs too.

this week we’re watching Season 5 Episode 3, titled… Jughead!! we’re not watching Riverdale though. we’re watching Lost, the show where time travel is real. this week we’re in the fifties. Daniel Faraday, who has spent most of his screentime being a huge dweeb, is suddenly the smartest man in town. there’s an atomic bomb too!! also Desmond is on a quest to find out the Secrets of Oxford and meets a very british man in the process. do we impersonate that british man?? oh you bet we do

this week we talk about Season 2, Episode 6, Abandoned and, tbh, it’s our first not great episode in a while. oh well! we get to meet Shannon, who spends this episode chasing a ghost. surely this would mark a significant character turn, right? well, bad news. meanwhile, there’s trekkin’ through the jungle with an injured Sawyer, and also Claire and Charlie are there too. on non-lost related notes… we turn to our audience for some help. cast your votes with #YesHorseMeat or #NoHorseMeat today. be heard.

this week we talk about One of Theme, which is season 2 episode 14. it’s our first episode about Sayid Jarrah, who role in the ensemble is The Torturer. as the only brown member of the main cast, that’s what you might call Really Bad Representation. we learn about his rough life in the gulf war, and we see him kick the heck out of a lying Benjamin Linus. pretty torture heavy episode, to be honest. other talking points include: capitalism, bananas, costco, and Jack’s teeth. also Hurley and Sawyer go on an adventure too. thanks for listening

this week… it’s time to talk about the final episode of lost. or at least the first 40-ish minutes of it. it’s The End (Part 1)… Season 6, Episode 17. believe it or not, an enjoyable slice of The Bad Season!! Live Together, Die Alone (Part 2)!! desmond’s back, baby! and he’s locked in the hatch with Locke, and they’re gonna see what happens if you Don’t Push That Button!! ahhh… classic Lost, just dippin it’s toes into the weird sci-fi nonsense that would eventually consume it whole. meanwhile, Charlie is here and helpful, Mr. Eko really dies for real, and the protagonists gets bamboozled. Bean and James, meanwhile, have an idea for a band that just might surprise you.

this week!! we watched!! Whatever Happened Happened!! season 5!! episode 11!!!! !!!! !!!!!! it’s a Time Travel Week, which means everything is absolutely buck wild. a young Benjamin Linus has been shot by a normal-aged Sayid Jarrah, and nobody knows quite what to do about that. and in an episode with a plot like that, somehow Kate and Cassidy’s relationship proves to be one of the wildest things about it. thanks for watching the show Lost

episode twenty!! a full sixth of lost has now officially been watched by us, and none of it has made any sense!! well, this one sorta did. this is Season 3, Episode 21, Greatest Hits. and it’s all about how Charlie is gonna die for real, for real, really die. it’s a Farewell to Charlie, and y’know what?? not all that bad of an episode. in fact a pretty decent episode. meanwhile bean and james learn harder truths still about whether or not Sawyer is still really the protagonist. thanks for listening to this silly little podcast for this long,…
