Mortal Kombat (1995)

This month's movie is Mortal Kombat (1995)! This is probably the best one since our first episode. An overall decent martial arts film that takes a considerable amount of effort in having the most amount of violence permissible in a PG-13 film. Reptile looks like a cereal mascot, Kitana gives Liu Kang adventure game hints, and Art Lean dies for our sins. Raul Julia spent the last months of his life giving his all as M. Bison! And most everyone else has managed to have a decent acting career despite being in this travesty! Is this movie fascist?
