it’s Season 5 Episode 13 this week, Some Like it Hoth. it’s dharma time, and Miles tells Hurley all about his dad, and the two of ’em?? they get along famously!! they’re best friends this episode and it’s great. meanwhile, the backstory features hank from breaking bad in the crossover event of the decade. we crack wise about k-pop and farts in this one, so maybe not our strongest. or maybe the greatest podcast ever recorded! you decide.

this week we watch Season 3 Episode 4, Every Man for Himself. the protagonist is back, baby!! everyone’s favourite con-man and swindler, Sawyer, is stuck in a cage and gets bopped on the head a couple times, and Ben is mean to a rabbit. hey!! this week it’s Season 2, Episode 23, Live Together Die Alone (Part 1). in the setup episode to the grand finale of the Button Season, we get an incredibly drunk Desmond berating everything he sees. we also learn about how he wanted to sail around the world to win back a lost love, which is a super sensible plan. finally, in honour of a year of podcasting, we put our listeners through a little… let’s call it an Exercise of Trust.

good morning! this week it’s Season 6 Episode 7, Dr. Linus. Ben, the show’s central antagonist and by all accounts an irredeemable monster, finds redemption because he’s sad. all it took was being forced to dig his own grave!! of course, in an alternate timeline, Ben’s living as a high school teacher and Locke says he should be principal. meanwhile, Bean and James do a bit of math and also figure out just how much they could’ve gotten away with when writing the alternate timeline. it gets a little wild!!

happy episode 50! can you believe it?? this week it’s Season 3, Episode 3, titled Further Instructions. it’s about John Locke’s quest to have a big think about an airport, and save Mr. Eko from a polar bear. of course, this all reminds us of his past life on a hippie commune full of weed. it’s definitely an episode and a half. meanwhile, Bean presents some basketball theories and James does some foley work. thanks for listening!!

this week it’s Season 1, Episode 22, Born to Run!! very little springsteen in this episode sadly, but a whole lotta Kate! we learn about her sordid past again, where she swindles a doctor. on the island, folks are getting the raft ready to go, but then someone poisons Michael!! who could do this?? what could their motivations possibly be?? also Walt is psychic now, and that’s always fun. we also break down a very important character stat. love the show, love the podcast, love to listen to two goobers!

this week it’s Season 6 Episode 2, LA X (Part 2), where the Good Show dares to ask… what if the fateful plane… landed safe and sound?? well it might go a little something like this: nothing interesting would happen. meanwhile, in real life, the gang finds a Temple and Hurley gives an ankh to a man. Sayid takes a fateful dip into a cursed jacuzzi. it’s a bad episode, folks, but we talk about it regardless, for that is our burden. we hope you like it.
