We’re stepping out of the Backpack Era – no matter what Jordan says – and into the Episode Directly Before Legend of the Sea Devils Era with the first 2022 special, “Eve of the Daleks”! It’s a refreshing reminder that Chris Chibnall really can make a great Doctor Who episode. Maybe there’s joy to be found in very very recent Doctor Who after all! Watch this episode a few times and you’ll agree.
