this week we talk about One of Theme, which is season 2 episode 14. it’s our first episode about Sayid Jarrah, who role in the ensemble is The Torturer. as the only brown member of the main cast, that’s what you might call Really Bad Representation. we learn about his rough life in the gulf war, and we see him kick the heck out of a lying Benjamin Linus. pretty torture heavy episode, to be honest. other talking points include: capitalism, bananas, costco, and Jack’s teeth. also Hurley and Sawyer go on an adventure too. thanks for listening

this week… it’s time to talk about the final episode of lost. or at least the first 40-ish minutes of it. it’s The End (Part 1)… Season 6, Episode 17. believe it or not, an enjoyable slice of The Bad Season!! Live Together, Die Alone (Part 2)!! desmond’s back, baby! and he’s locked in the hatch with Locke, and they’re gonna see what happens if you Don’t Push That Button!! ahhh… classic Lost, just dippin it’s toes into the weird sci-fi nonsense that would eventually consume it whole. meanwhile, Charlie is here and helpful, Mr. Eko really dies for real, and the protagonists gets bamboozled. Bean and James, meanwhile, have an idea for a band that just might surprise you.

this week!! we watched!! Whatever Happened Happened!! season 5!! episode 11!!!! !!!! !!!!!! it’s a Time Travel Week, which means everything is absolutely buck wild. a young Benjamin Linus has been shot by a normal-aged Sayid Jarrah, and nobody knows quite what to do about that. and in an episode with a plot like that, somehow Kate and Cassidy’s relationship proves to be one of the wildest things about it. thanks for watching the show Lost
